Founded in 1896, the Brauer Unterstützungs Verein (BUV) is a homebrew club and sub-organization of the German-American Society of Omaha dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history, culture, and art of brewing beer.

The BUV brings together homebrewers, beer enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about the brewing tradition. Whether you’ve been brewing for years, want to learn how it’s done, or simply appreciate a good beer and good company, all members are welcome.

The BUV meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Rathskeller at the German-American Society.
