The German Language School offers engaging German instruction for children and adults of all experience levels in a friendly, welcoming environment. Whether you’re learning German for the first time, brushing up on skills, or helping your children connect with German language and culture, there’s a class designed to meet you where you are.

Children’s classes are open to ages 4 through teen and meet Saturday mornings from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Children learn through games, songs, cultural activities, and age-appropriate lessons. The 2026–27 session runs September 12, 2026 through April 24, 2027.

Adult classes meet Monday evenings from 7:00–9:00 p.m., with classes for Beginners, Advanced Beginners, Intermediates, and Advanced students. Instruction focuses on speaking, listening, reading, and writing while incorporating German traditions and culture. The 2026–27 session runs September 14, 2026 through April 26, 2027.

Classes are held in the Ratskeller on the lower level of the German-American Society.
