Die Narren, meaning “The Fools,” celebrates the playful traditions of German Karneval and Fasching. The group brings colorful characters, costumes, masks, humor, and plenty of personality to German-American Society celebrations, carrying on customs that have been part of German pre-Lenten festivities for generations.

Members participate in events and performances throughout the Fasching season, helping introduce Society members and guests to one of Germany’s liveliest cultural traditions. If you enjoy costumes, entertaining a crowd, or simply embracing the sillier side of German culture, Die Narren offers a unique way to get involved.
