You're Invited to the Fasching Celebration at the German American Society!

 

Join us for a night of vibrant festivities and cultural revelry at our annual Fasching event! Fasching, also known as Karneval or Fastnacht, is a deeply-rooted German tradition celebrated with great enthusiasm across the globe, especially by those of German descent. This centuries-old carnival season is marked by its vibrancy and grandeur. It's a time when streets come alive with the spirit of festivity, showcasing a kaleidoscope of elaborate costumes, and an air of joyful revelry. Participants, adorned in a myriad of dazzling outfits, engage in spirited dances and merry-making. This festival symbolizes a period of merriment and freedom, allowing people to express their creativity and enjoy communal joy before the solemnity of Lent.

 

When: Doors open at 5:00 PM, with dinner being served around 6:15 PM. Dance the night away starting at 7:30 PM.

  • Main Course: Choose between succulent Roladen or a Grilled New Zealand Lamb Chop.

  • For our Young Guests (12 and under): A delightful menu available at $12.00.

 

Entertainment:

Costume Contest:

Show off your creativity in our costume contest! Categories include children, men, women, couples, and groups.

  • Dancing Only (Starts at 7:30 PM): Members: $10.00 | Non-Members: $12.00
