Join us for an evening of tradition, delicious food, and lively entertainment as we celebrate National German-American Day alongside our annual Grape Harvest Dinner Dance!
National German-American Day commemorates the lasting contributions of German immigrants to the United States, dating back to the first settlement in Germantown, Pennsylvania, in 1683. Designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, this day honors over 300 years of German heritage, culture, and community spirit. During the evening, the Joseph Meschede Award of Excellence will be presented to individuals recognized for their outstanding service and dedication to the Society.
The Grape Harvest celebration, hosted by Bärenbrut, adds a playful and festive twist to the night. The hall will be decorated with fruits and gourds—ripe for the “stealing.” But beware—the Bärs’ sheriffs and deputies will be on patrol!
