The Weinverein brings together members who enjoy learning about wine almost as much as drinking it. Meetings may include tastings, wine education, field trips, winemaking, vinification discussions, and other club activities. The group offers a social setting for everyone from casual wine drinkers to experienced enthusiasts.

Meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, and November in the Ratskeller, with gatherings at private residences during alternating months.
