Heimatfreunde combines fellowship with service. Members gather throughout the year while also volunteering at Society functions and supporting German cultural traditions. One of the group’s longtime contributions is operating a consignment shop featuring German articles and goods.

The group generally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month from September through May.
