Die Heimat Tänzer keeps German heritage moving, quite literally. The group preserves and shares traditional German folk dancing and Tracht, or traditional dress, through practices, performances, and community events. With both adult and children’s groups, the Tänzer provide opportunities for multiple generations to learn dances, celebrate German culture, and perform throughout the Midwest.

Practices are typically held Tuesday evenings. Die Heimat Tänzer is also a member of the Gauverband Nordamerika.
