Student Exchange Program
The German-American Society’s Student Exchange Program gives young people the opportunity to experience German culture firsthand through international travel, friendship, and cultural exchange.
The program connects students with host families in Germany, allowing them to experience everyday life beyond the typical tourist visit while practicing language skills, discovering German traditions, and building relationships across cultures. In return, participating families may have opportunities to welcome German exchange students to Omaha and share American life and culture with them.
Student Exchange reflects one of the German-American Society’s most important goals: keeping the connection between Germany and the United States alive for future generations.
