The German-American Society of Omaha offers research services to persons
wishing to obtain information about relatives or other persons who have
been associated with various German organizations in Omaha and surrounding
areas. Some information also is available about other German organizations
in the state of Nebraska. This information includes German churches. Copies
of pictures may also be obtained, if available, from any organizations that
are on record. The information the German-American Society has on file
dates back to 1861; the Society has information about the 30 German
organizations which existed in Omaha over the years. Some fees or donations
may apply, according to how much research is needed. All donations and
proceeds will go to the German-American Society Museum Fund.
