Die Schnur Puppen (The string dolls) activity involves the participation of both children and adults. This group focuses on bringing marionette performances to the German American Society typical of that seen during the Christmas season festivities in Germany. The group presents performances at the Children's Christmas party and at the Easter party.All Society members are invited to participate in this activity. No previous experience is required. There is an ongoing need for puppeteers, stage help, costume sewing, stage building (an ongoing project), audio and lighting. Essentially, the group practices most theater arts. Die Schnur Puppen perform each year at "Christmas in Germany" and at the Club's Children's Christmas Party for the members in December and the Easter Program for children.
